Vamos começar do ínicio 😜🤣
Amanhecer…
Dawn, by definition, is “the first appearance of light in the morning followed by sunrise”. It occurs at the time that the geometric center of the Sun is 18° below the horizon in the morning. That can be seen as a synonym for the period of morning twilight when the Sun is still below the horizon, but its rays are already reflected by the Earth’s atmosphere, lighting up the sky.
A escuridão / noite…
As with dawn, scientists define dusk as specific moments in time based on the solar elevation angle, which is the position of the Sun in relation to the horizon. In other words, “the darker part of twilight especially at night”. There are 3 stages of dusk, each marking the end of 1 of the 3 phases of evening twilight:
✨Civil dusk – the geometric center of the Sun’s disk is 6 degrees below the horizon.
✨Nautical dusk – the geometric center of the Sun’s disk is 12 degrees below the horizon.
✨Astronomical dusk – the geometric center of the Sun’s disk is 18 degrees below the horizon.
Penumbra…
Twilight refers to the periods between dawn and sunrise and sunset and dusk, where sunrise and sunset are defined as the exact times when the upper edge of the disc of the Sun is at the horizon. The hazy light during this period is an effect caused by the scattering of the sunlight in the upper atmosphere and reflecting toward Earth. It is very subjective as far as the time of day that twilight occurs because it depends on the location and elevation of the observer, the time of year, and local weather conditions.
In addition, twilight is divided into three durations based on the angle of the Sun below the horizon:
✨Astronomical – twilight is the period when the Sun is between 18° and 12° below the horizon.
✨Nautical – twilight is the period when the Sun is between 12° and 6° below the horizon.
✨Civil – twilight is the period when the Sun is between 6° below the horizon until sunrise. The same designations are used for periods of evening twilight.
Por último mas não menos importante, temos nossos tão amados Nascer do Sol e Pôr do Sol…
“Sunrise” occurs the moment the disc of the sun peeks above the eastern horizon due to the Earth’s rotation. “Sunset” is the opposite. It occurs the moment the disc of sun completely disappears below the western horizon.
Mas me conta aí, quem não gosta de apreciar um pôr do sol com amigos, família ou até mesmo aquele contatinho? 😍😜
